Nathan and PaintTek did a fantastic job on our house. Nathan was great with helping us to choose colours, and they painted the entire exterior and did significant work on fixing stucco and removing and replacing trim, all within the quote. Everyone who worked on our house was professional and friendly and we are so happy with the results. Highly recommended - thanks Nathan!

Nathan Gauthier and his crew were excellent in their work of refinishing the exterior cedar logs of our log post-and-beam house. They were knowledgeable and meticulous, resulting in a first-class result. Much of the work had to be done from ladders, which presented no problem to them. They were prompt, courteous and amenable to adapting their schedule to accommodate mine. Finally, they were willing to come out to one of the smaller gulf islands, which many trades hesitate to do. I highly recommend their work if you want the best.

Hired PaintTek to repaint the entire exterior of our new home from forest green/light green to white/custom blue. The transition took many coats and days but Nathan and his team got the job done on time and made it look perfect. The workers were polite and were family friendly (they knew to keep the noise down when the kids were napping). After being so satisfied with the paint job, we hired the company to renovate our washroom from 2.0 to 3.0 by installing a shower stall. After only little over a week of construction, the bathroom is now exactly the way we had imagined it. I originally had the thought of doing all of these projects as DIY but after seeing what Nathan and his team had to go through, I am super glad I hired them because the job would have never been completed without em. Thank you!

My experience with PaintTec was seamless from start to finish. When Nathan came by to give an estimate he was extremely knowledgeable and pretty funny in my opinion. PaintTek just completed a quite complex renovation at my basement, which included removing an old door, filling up with concrete a gap in the foundation wall, installing two new windows, rebuilding the interior of the walls to add additional heat insulation, and adding stucco to the external walls. And of course painting and finishing the details. The job was perfect, masterfully managed by Nathan who was very upfront about all the complications (e.g. additional frame had to be built to accommodate R20 insulation). I highly recommend PaintTek for every kind of renovation, including the more complicated ones.

He was professional, pleasant and helpful. The company is busy and it took a while to get a start date but Nathan and one of his painters, Jason, arrived on time and quickly got started. They were very careful about drop cloths and tidiness while working. Cleanup occurred at the end of each workday. The surface preparation was done well and the three coats of paint applied very carefully resulting in a professional end result. The only small concern I have is that, with all of the projects that Jason has going on at one time, he sometimes forgot to get back to us on a few things. However, this is a very busy time of the year for a painting company and the quality of their work easily makes up for these little inconveniences. We will have them back for subsequent paint jobs. Highly recommended!

“I hired PaintTek to complete my fireplace tiling and kitchen backsplash. The 2.5 story fireplace is split travertine rock and required great attention to detail. Both projects turned out beautifully and finished ahead of schedule. Exactly what I wanted. Nathan and his team were polite and professional with competitive pricing. Quality work. We used PaintTek to paint the complete outside of our house after recommendation by a neighbour.We found Nathan to be very knowledgeable and helpful in picking new colours for our house and explaining the different sheens of different paints. Both Nathan and his complete crew were excellent putting out drop cloths to make sure there were no spills.They cleaned and sanded as necessary before painting and they all cleaned up thoroughly after each day. Nathan was in contact with us on a daily basis , keeping us updated on progress and time lines.I am a very fussy person and found at the end of the job, I had nothing to complain about.We highly recommend Nathan , we will be using them in the future. Very comfortable providing a recommendation for PaintTek. We had Nathan and his crew in to paint the entire interior of our home and are so pleased with the quality job done! They delivered on time and on budget. Were flexible for us (I ended up having to stay home sick 2 days and they worked around me), provided added value in suggesting some missed home maintenance (caulking deteriorating in the master ensuite) & were patient and helpful in choosing colors. After renting my condo out for 5 years it had noticable wear and tear on the walls. PaintTek painted the entire unit and it looks brand new! The quality of the work is outstanding. And the staff was friendly and very professional. Kept a very clean work space! I highly recommend this company.

If you’re on the fence, just hire these guys.I had a bunch of quotes from different people to paint the trim on my house and my fence. Ultimately, I decided to go with someone lower cost for the fence (it’s in the woods and no one sees that anyway, who cares), but went with PaintTek for the trim even though the quote was a bit higher, because it was pretty obvious that their standards were high and they wouldn’t settle for less than perfection. Which is obviously what I wanted for the house.They did not disappoint. The end product is perfect. I was kept in the loop the whole time around estimated cost, timelines, product used, the reasons they were doing the things the way they did. I was introduced to everyone who was working on the house and encouraged to make contact with the owner if I had any concerns. The team was flexible, trustworthy, polite, professional, and easy to get in touch with. And they totally stand behind the work they do.Addendum: Due to my great experience with these guys the first time around, when a rogue tile fell off my fireplace 2 weeks before I had to move across the country (and the job turned out to be way more complicated than it looked), I knew who to call. Everything happened very quickly, the dude came to my house within a few days and took way less time and charged by half of what was originally quoted because it was not as complicated as initially projected. When does that ever happen? I guess it only happens when honest people do the work. That’s not too common, in my experience.So yes, they might give you a quote slightly higher than their competitors, but in my opinion, totally worth it in exchange their experience, professionalism, the end product, and their team earning appropriate money for the quality work they do. I'd recommend them and/or hire them again in a heartbeat.

The PainTek team has been awesome to work with! We had some cabinets and a hutch built which Nathan and his team painted. They were super flexible and accommodating with times, prices were fair and reasonable, painters were kind and friendly and the quality of the work was excellent!!! Highly recommend this company and will definitely work with them again.

Nathan and his crew were by far the best painting crew I've worked with as a builder. Nathan was easy to communicate/schedule with, and work was not only done on time, but was, 100%, the high end of industry standards. Nathan has a through knowledge of his trade and was capable of finishing everything from standard finishing to custom work. Would recommend him and his staff to anyone

We used PaintTek to paint the lower suite of our house which we needed to be completed quickly. From the beginning, Nathan was wonderful to communicate with. He was super responsive, helpful and friendly. We had complete confidence that the job would be completed on time and on budget. He offered tips for the paint colours and made the space look amazing.
